CDN Withdraws from California Commercial Group Dental Market

California Dental Network (CDN) is withdrawing from the California commercial group dental market for effective dates of October 1, 2024, and later.

Important Information:
 

•  Group Policies with renewal dates on or after October 1, 2024: If group dental policy renewal date is October 1, 2024, or later, the group dental policy will be cancelled effective October 1, 2024.
 

•  Group Policies with renewal dates before October 1, 2024: If the group dental policy renewal date is prior to October 1, 2024, the group policy will not be renewed, and coverage will end on renewal date. While the group can elect to continue with their California Dental Network group policy until October 1, 2024, the policy will be canceled as of that date. 
 

CDN will continue to accept and process electronic and manual enrollment transactions through September 20, 2024. All additions/terminations and retroactive adjustments must be for coverage periods prior to October 1, 2024.

CDN also plans to produce final invoices for group commercial coverage on or about September 27, 2024. To ensure this final invoice is accurate, any required enrollment updates must be processed by CDN by end of day September 20, 2024.
