Anthem Blue Cross and Shasta Medical Center Contract Terminated

Anthem Blue Cross (ABC) and Shasta Regional Medical Center have been engaged in contract negotiations for several months. Unfortunately, Anthem Blue Cross and Shasta Regional Medical Center were unable to reach agreement, and the commercial contract terminated effective January 1, 2025.   ABC mailed out letter regarding the 1/1/25 termination of Shasta Regional Medical Center. While the contract is currently terminated, both organizations continue to negotiate and are committed to making sure their mutual clients and members have access to quality, affordable healthcare.
